The James Library
HOURS: Monday - Friday, 8:15AM - 3:30PM
Students in kindergarten through grade seven have a weekly scheduled checkout period as well as instruction. The instruction may be a weekly lesson or instruction, or instruction that fits curriculum needs scheduled at the discretion of the library media specialist and the classroom teacher. Guidance for independent research, derived from curriculum demands, is provided for all grades. Research is conducted with individuals, small groups, and whole classes. In addition, all students may use the library throughout the day with permission from their classroom teacher. Parents are welcome to check out books of interest.
