The James Library
HOURS: Monday - Friday, 8:15AM - 3:30PM
Students ages 3 through grade five have a weekly scheduled library period that includes check-out and instruction. The instruction may be a weekly lesson or instruction that fits curriculum needs scheduled at the discretion of the library specialist and the classroom teacher. Guidance for independent research, derived from curriculum demands, is provided through Grade Eight. Research is conducted with individual, small groups, and whole classes. In addition, all students may use the library throughout the day with permission from their classroom teacher. Parents are welcome to check out books of interest.
